JEWISH QUARTER FREE TOUR (ENGLISH)

FREE TOUR JEWISH QUARTER

On March 19, 1944, the German Nazis invade Hungary… but wait a minute, do they invade the country? With us, you will discover what happened here during WWII. In this Free Tour, we´ll walk through what was the last ghetto built in Europe by the Nazis. If you walk through the Jewish quarter on your own, you will not see anything of the Jewish ghetto that one day spread through its streets, a real concentration camp in the heart of Budapest.

We will also discover the names of those characters who saved so many lives, their stories, and their tricks to deceive the Nazis and the Hungarian far-right… without a doubt our most intense and exciting free tour. We will completely turn this district upside down, which today has become the main point of the nightlife in Budapest.
